DESCRIPTION:Wednesdays April 17 – May 15 6:30-7:30pm\nYoung actors will learn comedic timing and improvisation by rehearsing and performing classic sketch comedies from plays and television. Seasoned director Lyn Freeman will teach skills that will give actors not just a leg up in the theater\, but in life itself! Improv is physical and playful—an excellent experience for those interested in further acting workshops and auditions. Improv teaches the skills of comedy and timing in an enjoyable way. Kelly will introduce students to the use of props. In the final class\, children will explain puppetry and storytelling\, display their work for their families\, and demonstrate how a prop they made might be used in a show! This is an incredible opportunity for students to better their motor skills and problem-solving skills.
