Located in downtown Owosso, Michigan, Vibrissa School of Cosmetology is a locally owned educational institution dedicated to transforming beauty passion into professional careers. We serve as a community hub for aspiring beauty professionals, offering both private enrollment and specialized Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs for high school juniors and seniors across Shiawassee County.

What We Do
We provide comprehensive training through two primary programs designed to prepare students for the Michigan State Board exams:
  • Cosmetology Program: An in-depth 1,500-hour curriculum covering haircutting, advanced coloring, chemical treatments (perms), facials, and makeup application.
  • Manicure Program: A specialized track focusing on manicures, pedicures, intricate nail art, and advanced nail enhancements like acrylics and UV gels.
Services for the Public
Vibrissa also operates as a full-service student salon. Once students reach specific training milestones (350 hours for cosmetology or 200 hours for manicures), they provide professional-grade services to the public under the direct supervision of instructors. Clients can visit us for affordable:
  • Haircuts, styling, and custom color.
  • Manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements.
  • Facials and eyebrow treatments.
