Glow Owosso
November 28, 2025 @ 5:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Kick off the holiday season with Owosso Main Street’s annual Glow celebration!
Starting at 5:30 pm, lace up for the festive Glow 5k—a perfect way to burn off that Thanksgiving feast while enjoying the sparkling streets of historic Owosso.
At 7:00 pm, the *Glow Parade lights up the night with floats, music, and plenty of holiday cheer. After the parade, head over to Main Street Plaza, at the corner of Main Street and Washington Street, for the highly anticipated Christmas tree lighting and a visit with Santa.
Afterward, enjoy a free horse & carriage ride through town and explore our local shops, which will be open late with special holiday offers.
Don’t miss out on this magical night filled with holiday fun. This year, we’ll even be lighting up the night sky with an amazing fireworks display!

*Last year, we hosted more than 12,000 people downtown, and the parade itself had the largest number of entries we’ve ever seen. Plus, we introduced fireworks for the first time (and yes, they’re coming back!).
With so much growth, we’re making a few adjustments to keep Glow safe and enjoyable for everyone. This year, vehicles will not be permitted to park on Washington Street within the parade route. Instead, Washington Street will close at 4 PM to be fully dedicated to parade magic, glowing lights, and holiday cheer!
Before the parade begins, stay warm and festive by visiting our incredible downtown restaurants and shops. Supporting these small businesses not only keeps you cozy but also helps the heart of our community thrive.
We know this is a change from past years, but it’s a great sign of how much Glow has become THE holiday tradition in Owosso. Thank you for helping us create a safe and magical experience for all—see you downtown on Friday, November 28th!
The Glow Parade starts at 7 PM at Oliver Street traveling southbound on Washington Street toward Water Street/Jerome Avenue.
